The Kansas City Training Center is located just north of downtown Kansas City in a building provided by the Builders’ Association. The Training Center has over 21,000 square foot of shop space and 5500 square foot of office and classroom space. Tools and equipment are state of the art.

The Topeka Training Center is located just north of the Kansas River at 212 NW Norris Street, in Topeka, Kansas.  The building houses both the Apprenticeship Program and the local offices of the District Council.

We have over 10,000 square feet of office, classroom and shop space dedicated to training the carpenters of northeast Kansas. With the ability to train members in Confined Space, Aerial Lift, Fork Truck, Scaffold Erector, as well as Interior Systems, Concrete Formwork and Door Hardware, to name just a few, ours is a versatile and comprehensive training program.

Training takes place Monday thru Wednesday, with applications and testing provided Thursday and Friday morning at 8:00 a.m. We also provide skills enhancement training for all Carpenters, Millwright & journeymen, both during the day and in the evening.
