COLLEGE CREDIT
Some of the most sought after, well paid people in the industry are those with the combination of construction skills and a college degree. This combination will increase your opportunity to succeed in the construction industry.
It is possible to earn an associate degree while you are completing your apprenticeship. This offering is through the carpenters apprenticeship program, the Builders’ Association and the Affiliated Business & Technology College. Apprentices and journeypersons can earn 30 college credits at no cost to themselves at local affiliated community colleges for completing our federally approved apprenticeship program. Complete another 35 credit hours through our local affiliates and you can graduate with an Associate of Applied Science Industrial Technology. This can also be transferred for continued education toward a Bachelor of Science degree in technology management.
